| I understand Dortmund, Bayern Munich & Celtic have already said they will play friendlies to raise funds for the club.
I know there are plenty of clubs in trouble - but St Pauli are a bit special - a non-big business, corporate club run with major input from the fans.

"Save FC St. Pauli" - FC St. Pauli needs 1.95 million Euros immediately to fulfil the licensing conditions of the DFB (German Football Association) for the 3rd division!
No more wailing and gnashing of teeth! Together we`ll pull it off. We`ll concentrate on the strengths of our FC St. Pauli: We`ll rely on the immense potential of the fans and the enormous emotional loyalty of our friends to FC St. Pauli. Lots of small and large donations will demonstrate the nationwide cooperation and sympathy for this unique Football Club. The fan initiative "Save FC St. Pauli" was founded by Norbert Harz, Maik Waldow and Kai Petersen. These three longtime FC St. Pauli fans want to give those fans who are willing to help FC St. Pauli the opportunity to donate money to an independent bank account whose contents will be handed over to the club for the appropriate purpose. The utmost priority here is the license for the 3rd division. Should the club get the necessary money for this purpose from any other source, the money from this account will be donated to the youth department of FC St. Pauli.
