| What happened this year??? I don't remember seeing so many posts about buying or selling tickets last year... Is it that Porto or Cletic fans are more dedicated to their clubs than others? I doubt that... Is it because these clubs didn't go to a final for a long time? Feyenord and Alavés (2 years ago) weren't in a final for a long time as well (Alavés never did and probably never will again). Is it that Porto and Glasgow people like to speculate with new kinds of financial assets (such as football tickets?)? I would like to go to the final, but I'm not even a Porto (or Celtic) fan, but 750 euros? You know, that's probably more than a World Cup ticket cost last year!!! I hope you can sell that ticket(and I imagine you will...) If that wasn't more than half of my sallary, I would even consider buying it... Next year, be sure to select a UEFA Cup final in away from Portugal and with at least 100 000 seats available. Maracanã, anyone?

| In all fairness Mr Sofisticado??? I would do my homework of Celtic FC before doubting our Loyalty to our team. Find out about the bad days which I witnessed how we came through that and had a total re-birth under Mr O'Neill. You see there is a famous saying by a Scottish journalist who witnessed Celtic FC arrive in the Airport in Portugal in May 1967. When he seen the fans waiting on the team he commented that "If Celtic ever play on the moon, I am sure there will be fans there waiting on them arrive!!". There will be 50,000 fans in Seville no doubt and if you can make it you have an open invite to the biggest party in decades. As our song says, "We don't care if we win, lose or draw.". My advice is come on over and join the party. |

| "Never doubt our loyalty to the club?" I didn't doubt, but it seems it's not that much bigger than other teams'... But ok, maybe I'm wrong... Well, I have some days of. maybe I will go there, even if I don't have a ticket, and I'll party with you guys, either you win, lose or draw... I'm glad ther are no italian teams there, so the game is bound to be a good (at least attacking) one. And may the best team win! Imagine all the beer you can buy with 750 euros!!! |

| I think you need to ask the people of Blackburn, Oporto, Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Manchester, Liverpool, etc about the travelling Celtic Support.
I don't know why it is, but we tend to have a HUGE travelling support- which has been taken advantage of by quite a few clubs in England to fill testimonials/friendlies.
The head of security in Seville apparently expects about 4-5000 ticketless fans - he's more likely to get 30-40000. It is partly to do with it being FAR too long since we made it to this level, and partly to do with the fact that this is going to be a magic party - whatever the result.
I don't think there's ANY club in europe takes as many fans as we do - & it always seems to catch the local services by surprise - thankfully the majority are well behaved & only there for the beer & the party. |

| In the late 80s early 90s when Celtic were finishing 3rd or 4th in the league ("the bad old days") they were only getting average crowds of about 23,000. They only had 4,000 to 6,000 season ticket holders!
Now they are winning the league, crowds have trebled, and they have 50,000 season tickets. The only people to feel sorry for are the fans who genuinely were supporting Celtic in the late 80s/early 90s and are not able to get tickets for the UEFA final. The glory hunters don't deserve sympathy. |

| I also think it's pathetic that idiots like Westlife, Billy Connolly etc. can get UEFA final tickets ahead of the real fans. I mean how many away games have they been to this year? |
