It was a matter of seconds - Bulgaria needed Levski to win against Sturm and Fulham to beat Dinamo (Cro).
So, Levski won 1:0 but was still out after penalties and we all (here in Bulgaraia) were waiting for the result of the other game. Until 89 minute it was 0-1 to Dinamo and it seemed there was no hope whatosoever - then - 89' [1 - 1> Steed Malbranque, 90' [2 - 1> Luis Boa Morte - THANK YOU FULHAM!!!
Now Bulgaria will have 3 teams in UEFA cup from 2004/05 given the format is not changed.

The problem is we have only three European-worthy teams - CSKA, Levski and Litex. There is enough time though to build a 4th good team that could go through the qualification round(s) at least.

The coefficient of Litex for 2002 was 8,416 (place 55) and concerning the number of points won (6 points - net of the country coefficient) Litex is in place 46.

Author: vakho Date: 29-11-2002, 13:17	To Skyer , I think when one speaks about "European" level play for countries with coefficient lower than top20 it should mean that the (4th,5th) team would probably play generally well. Of course it's obvious that at this point there is very small chance for lower ranked team get even in top48 , this year for example just 7-8 teams did that (most of them are NOT 4th or 3rd in their leagues).
