| Can anybody understand the transfer of ROnaldo to Real Madrid? They already have a fantastic attack, now that Zidane has recovered, with Zidane, Figo and Roberto Carlos. Is it just weakening the opponent? Ofcourse it's good for Lyon, Ajax and Rosenborg. |

| I don't understand why you find it strange.
Real have said the last few seasons that they will buy the best players in the world. Ronaldo's form in the World Cup shows that he can go back to his best soon. So it seems kinda logical to me. |

| The best years of Ronaldo in Europe were with Barca. At the time, the player that assisted most of his wonderful runs was Figo. It seems to me only natural that he would like that kind of partnership again. Also, since Roberto Carlos does the same for him in Brasil nat. team and Zidane can perfectly replace Rivaldo's role, i guess Ronaldo wants to go to Real. A lot.
Then again, Real has the money. It has never had more money than now. Italian football is somewhat less rich. |
