| Is it possible that Rapid can win the league? I think that better days for them are coming. |

| Well, principally everything is possible. But it will be a very difficult season for Rapid. Last year they finished the championship at position 8, which was the worst placement for Rapid in history! The team is quite young, their best forwarder, Roman Wallner, is already playing in the national team of Austria, he was the best Austrian Player in the match versus Switzerland last week. |

I think there is only one thing we can be sure about: That Austria Vienna will win the austrian championship this season. After Djalminha (Deportivo) and Julio Cesar (Real Madrid, Benfica) have joined this club, I don't think that any other club in the austrian league will be able to stop Austria Vienna. |

For heaven's sake, no!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, we are an independant country and secondly, our clubs are too weak for the German Bundesliga. Only Austria Vienna would play an important role, all the other clubs would be the first candidates for relegation. Unfortunately Sturm Graz, too. |

| I don't really understand why thrasher picked the German Bundesliga, if anything Austria would be better served by joining with a comparably crap league like Switzerland or Czech rep. I don't mean any offence but the majority of the Austrian Bundesliga is like watching German 2. Bundesliga. It's like asking the Scottish clubs to join the English premier division and watching all bar Celtic and Rangers sink to Division 2, only it's not quite like that because unlike Scotland, Austria is totally independent since some scuffle in the 40s. |
