Thanks for your help, but it doesn't actually tell me who the Scots clubs can get. Is the qualifying round draw geographical?/seeded? or can anyone get anyone?

It is seeded. Groups of 8 formed before draw. 4 seeded, 4 unseeded. See the topic "regionalization" in one of the archives at the bottom of the topics page. I think it is 2001 archive. Then, you will find out how groups are formed. Next step is to find out "how many teams from each country?". After that, you will need team ranking to find out which team in which group? unfortunately no one can tell before all qualifiers are known including 3 fair-play participants. It is tough. The best you can do is to follow Bert's site as WiSK already suggested. You will find all answers there.

What Ahmet says is true: it is very difficult to know what the possibilities are at this point. The best thing for you to do is keep looking at the table on http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/seeduc2002.html. Over the coming weeks, some of the blanks will be filled in. Once the teams are all set (in June sometime) then you can presume that Livingston or Aberdeen can meet *any* of the teams in the unseeded column of the table. Later on, UEFA will shuffle all the teams into geographical groups, the point of which is to make it impossible for teams of the same country to meet each other. Bert will keep this regularly updated.
