The championship in Norway was over last year, I wonder which team would be given this place ? |

The Fair Play ranking is based on all UEFA competition matches played between 1 June 2001 and 31 May this year. So, Norway will only be first if they remain at the top until the end of next month.

I can't believe we're going to be in Europe! My only worry is the amount of games we're going to have to play. 46 league plus League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Cup. I've no idea how the players are going to manage it.

Congratulations Porker. It does not compensate for relegation from the Premiership, but it might make it easier to retain the squad and then who knows? Promotion perhaps. I don't think anyone would begrudge you that.

Good point you make about players possibly staying now, I hadn't thought about it in that way. There is also the concern of what happened last season. Our bad form coincided with the distraction of Europe. With promotion being the key this season, you wonder how seriously both cometitions will be taken.

Porker. I have heard several people say Europe was a distraction and resulted in poor league form, however hopefully the weaker opposition in division 1 will help. Europe on Wednesday, Gillingham on Saturday; is very different from, Europe on Wednesday, Arsenal on Saturday.
